Shared Resources:- Issues of consistency
Resource Types:- Not all systems have the same categories
Eg. WMPHO – had to convert News to both “external” News and WMPHO “Products”
Need wider discussion on what Resources we want to contribute to the shared system – already started
Then each contributor has the responsibility to decide which of their resources to share and into which categories they belong – can be achieved by re-structuring their database . . . or not
URL – some systems store relative links & these don’t work from the shared website (easily fixed)
Time Out – due to large number of resources (option to produce daily cache from each contributor)
