What do I need to Access
In order to use the HealthGIS you will need to install a scaleable vector graphics [SVG] viewer. You can download the viewer from Adobe http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install
FIREFOX 3.0 + Users need to disable native svg support. Instructions on how to do this can be found here
HealthGIS works almost instantaneously, however on the first use there may be a slight delay whilst SVG downloads the relevant information onto your own PC. This download CANNOT harm your computer. It is the same technology that is used by the Office for National Statistics on the Census 2001 site.
